Application
Ethyl lauroyl arginate HCl is a bacteriostatic agent used in food. It is also used in cosmetic additives as a preservative.
Lauroyl arginine ethyl ester hydrochloride has good bacteriostatic effect on Gram-positive bacteria, Gram-negative bacteria, pathogens, yeast and mold, and the minimum inhibitory concentration is 8 μg/mL, which is effective against pathogenic large intestine. The minimum inhibitory concentration of Bacillus, Saccharomyces cerevisiae, Aspergillus niger and Listeria monocytogenes is 32μg/mL, which is a safe and efficient preservative.
